Aerospace

Aerospace has been a key industry for Alabama since 1910 when the Wright Brothers established the first civilian flying school in Montgomery. The state is now home to more than 400 aerospace companies, providing space/defense services, maintenance/repair, manufacturing, software development, and other related services.

The Benefits Alabama offers Aerospace Companies

The following are just a few advantages Alabama has to offer:

  • Close Proximity to Other Major Aerospace Companies
Almost every county serviced by PowerSouth either has aerospace companies already located within the county or is in close proximity to major companies in surrounding counties.
